A new $59 million mixed-used development is coming to North Richland Hills.
The Wheehouse, a more than 436,000-square-foot complex at 6401 Smithfield that will include apartments and retail, will break ground in January. It is slated for completion In December 2026, according to documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The development will feature a 130,000-square-foot parking garage, more than 295,000 square feet for multi-family residences comprised of 277 apartments, and more than 10,200 square feet of retail.
The developer, Cover2 Capital, is operating under the limited partnership C2C Smithfield.
The designer of record is Moya Architectural Workshop of Dallas. RLG Consulting Engineers provided civil, structural engineering, and survey services.
