The World's Largest Rubber Duck, which has made appearances all around the U.S., will make its way to Fort Worth on Oct. 30.
The World's Largest Rubber Duck will be here in less than two weeks, people.
And there have been a few changes since the event was first announced in June. Originally set to take place in July, then later rescheduled to three days in October, the Big #KindnessDuck Party will now be a one-day event, taking place Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. to dark. at Trinity Park.
It's the launch party for the Kindness Duck Project, a new nonprofit that aims to support other nonprofits and also commit random acts of kindness in the community. Presented by Frank Kent Cadillac and Fort Brewery, the Big #KindnessDuck Party will showcase local charities, as well as feature live music, food trucks, vendors, games, a pop-up COVID-19 clinic hosted by Tarrant County Health, and more. A costume contest for children 18 and under, and pets, will offer over $2,000 in prizes; those interested in participating must register by Oct. 23.
