Partner Catherine Bright Haws and Associate Alexandra Mosser have joined Cantey Hanger LLP in the Dallas and Fort Worth offices, respectively.
For most of her 20-year career, Haws, board certified in estate planning and probate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, has represented her clients in estate planning, probate, estate administration and trust administration matters.
“Cantey Hanger is excited to have a probate attorney with Catherine’s reputation,” says Managing Partner Brian Newby in a statement. “She is well known within the legal community for speaking and writing on probate issues.”

Haws earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Texas at Austin and her law degree from the SMU Dedman School of Law.
In addition to helping clients implement their desired estate plans in a tax-efficient manner, she helps clients put incapacity planning documents into place, develop business succession plans, implement asset protection planning, and achieve marital property restructuring. She and her litigation colleagues also assist clients with probate and fiduciary disputes.
Ali Mosser earned a bachelor’s at the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University, and her J.D. at the Baylor School of Law in 2019. That same year, she was accepted into the State Bar of Texas; she is certified to practice in the United States District Courts for Northern, Southern, Eastern, Western Districts of Texas.
At Baylor, she served two terms as Executive President of the Student Bar Association and graduated with distinction as a Leadership Development Fellow. Before attending law school, she spent a year working as the Special Assistant to Baylor’s President.
