Sara Norman
Sara Collins Norman, whose practice focuses on real estate, business entities, estate planning and probate, has joined Cantey Hanger LLP as a partner.
She spent the past 10 years in Beaumont.
“Sara brings a wide range of skills and a track record of being a successful problem-solver,” said Doug Clayton, partner, in a statement. “We are very pleased to have Sara joining our growing transactional practice group.”
Norman’s transactional practice has an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, corporate and business entity formation and reorganization, estate planning, asset protection, wills, trusts, probate, taxation, real estate, HOA governance and enforcement, commercial lending, mineral lease negotiation and management, easement and contract drafting, and assorted oil and gas issues.
She was board certified in commercial real estate in 2022 by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Cantey Hanger, established in 1882, is a full-service firm with offices in Fort Worth, Dallas, Midlothian, and Austin.
“I chose Cantey Hanger for its atmosphere, culture and commitment to clients,” Norman said. “It is the best opportunity to represent my clients in the best way they want to be represented. I was very attracted to the firm’s sophistication, it being well-established in the community — a firm that will be around another 100 years — and with a legacy after I'm here.”
Norman received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2014 after having earned her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications from Lubbock Christian University.
She was recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2023, and in The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch, 2021-24, for Real Estate Law and Trusts & Estates.
