Sal Espino, Trinity Metro's director of government relations and a former Fort Worth City Council member, said Thursday he was returning to his law practice.
Espino said he'll concentrate on real estate law, wills and trusts, business entity formation, and title work done at the family-owned Trinity Title, led by his wife Elizabeth.
Anticipating an executive order by President-elect Joe Biden reinstating the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Act, "I also plan on providing legal assistance to those who will benefit from such action - both renewals and new applicants," Espino said in a Facebook post. "We can also assist clients with naturalization petitions and applications for permanent residence."
Espino took note of Trinity Metro's accomplishments in the last two and half years, including the startup of TEXRail commuter rail service from T&P Station on the Near Southside to D/FW Airport through downtown; ZIPZONES on-demand service; an improved Go Pass mobile app; new bus service in Forest Hill; better social media and web site; and a bus system redesign underway.
"We must all work together to support and improve our transit system for the benefit of all our citizens & residents," Espino said in his post. "I will continue to advocate strongly for investments in transit. Forever grateful to have been a team member at Trinity Metro."
