Jamie Luna
Jamie N. Luna has joined Fort Worth-based Valor as an accounting manager in the firm’s oil and gas accounting department, the company announced on Thursday.
Luna joins Valor with more than 25 years of accounting experience, with an emphasis in managing accounts receivable, revenue accounting and working hand-in-hand with land departments.
Luna will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, ensuring accurate tracking of revenue and reconciliation of unpaid royalties.

"With Jamie's 25 years of experience and his specialized knowledge in oil and gas accounting, we know he'll be an invaluable addition to our team, enhancing both our internal operations and the services we provide to our clients."
Valor, founded in 2018, is a specialty asset management company with expertise in providing mineral management solutions and oil and gas accounting. Valor was a Fort Worth Inc. Best Companies to Work For winner in 2022 and 2023. CEO Joseph DeWoody is a member of Fort Worth Inc.'s list of The 400 most influential people in Fort Worth in 2024.
Luna earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from TCU.
After graduating, he began his career in various industries including construction and banking security services. Prior to joining the team at Valor, he spent the past 12 years working at Tug Hill Operating and XTO Energy.

In addition to Fort Worth, Valor has a satellite office in Midland.
