Ten days ago or so, in a 7,000-square-foot home on a greenbelt lot overlooking downtown Fort Worth, wine was flowing, live music was playing, and people were conversing. And, in most cases, people were conversing about the Napa Valley-inspired home in which they were gathered.
What was their favorite room? What did they think of the wall color or the cabinetry or the tile? After all, this incredible home is the reason these fine folks had converged on this Thursday night.
The Dream Home VIP Party provided attendees a chance to grab a sneak peek of the 2025 Fort Worth Magazine Dream Home in the Montrachet development in west Fort Worth.
The home, designed and built by The Morrison Group, is a stunning showcase of modern luxury living and includes immaculate interior design from Semmelmann Interiors and additional work from some of the area’s best subcontractors. And, at this exclusive event, those who played key roles in building and designing the home, including Susan Semmelmann and Scott Sangalli, were on-hand to talk about the project, answer questions, and receive kudos for a job well done.
Flaunting the Dream Home’s potential to entertain large groups, the party made good use of some of the home’s best features. Despite the 80-degree weather, the backyard firepit was raging as local musician Sean Russell of Cut Throat Finches ran through an acoustic set of well-known covers and original songs. And the large, step-down bar — a staple in Morrison Group-designed homes — had a large and varied selection of adult beverages.
Guests were also treated with dinner from their choice of two food trucks: Gepetto’s Pizza and Two Horns Tex Mex. And with both receiving rave reviews, some attendees elected for a second dinner and gave both a try.
For those who missed out on the VIP party, you can still tour this year’s Dream Home through June 22. Tour hours are Thursday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can purchase tickets here.
Proceeds from touring benefit a Wish with Wings, a local charity that grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
