Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced this week that the next stop on the 2025 Governor’s Small Business Summit tour will be in Bastrop on June 26. Hosted at the Bastrop Convention & Exhibit Center, the event is designed to help small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs access key resources and expert guidance to build and grow their businesses.
“With more than 3.3 million small businesses across Texas, employing nearly half of all working Texans, our state continues to lead in job creation and business expansion,” Abbott said. “I invite all small business owners and entrepreneurs to attend this Governor’s Small Business Summit or one in their region."
The Bastrop Summit will run from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and feature networking opportunities and breakout sessions with local, state, and federal partners. Attendees will gain practical insights on a range of small business topics, including:
- Grow or Go: Knowing When to Scale or Sell Your Small Business
- Strategies for Growth: Leveraging State & Local Programs
- Harnessing the Power of Technology for Your Small Business
The keynote speaker will be Clint Howard, artist and owner of Pyrology Foundry & Studio.
Registration for the event is $20 and includes access to all sessions, lunch, complimentary headshots, and networking with resource providers. For more information or to register, visit gov.texas.gov/events.
