Catherine Rude
Catherine Rude has joined JTaylor as a principal in the tax services division, the firm announced this week.
Rude is an attorney who spent the past 12 years at Brown PC, where she served as managing director. Her experience spans complex tax controversy matters, and she brings a wealth of knowledge in dispute resolution and risk mitigation strategies, the firm said.
“Catherine brings a unique set of skills that complements the talents of our team,” said Shannon Schumacher, the firm’s director of Tax Services, in a statement. “Many of us have worked with Catherine in the past, and we know what a remarkable resource she will be for our clients who may be navigating difficult circumstances.”
Rude has a Juris Doctor from the University of Washington and a Master of Laws in taxation from the University of San Diego. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Tax Section. She also serves on the faculty of the Texas A&M School of Law Tax Dispute Resolution Clinic.
