Comerica Bank announced on Thursday that veteran banker Matt Marchbanks has been named Fort Worth market president. He will also serve as senior vice president/middle market and business banking group manager for the region.
Marchbanks will lead Comerica’s business and community development strategy in Tarrant County, overseeing middle market and business banking relationship teams in the area. He will report to Brian Enzler, director of middle market and business banking for North Texas.
"Matt has played an integral role in establishing our commercial banking operations in the Fort Worth Market," Enzler said in a statement. "Under his leadership, I am confident that our team will continue to build long-term relationships and expand our portfolio while helping new and prospective customers meet their banking needs."
Marchbanks brings 25 years of experience in financial services, having started his career through Comerica’s Commercial Banking Development Program. Over the years, he has held multiple leadership roles, including overseeing commercial banking operations in the Dallas-Fort Worth West and South Florida regions. He also spent nearly a decade as a relationship manager in North Texas.
A longtime resident of Tarrant County, Marchbanks holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas A&M University and is a graduate of SMU’s Southwestern Graduate School of Banking. He has completed several professional development programs, including Leadership Fort Worth, and has served on various local boards.
