Nationwide Aviation, a leading flight school in Fort Worth-Dallas and Greater Nashville, said on Monday that it had completed a $1 million modernization project to upgrade the avionics systems on its fleet of 25 aircraft to feature the latest technology for students and aspiring pilots.
The project will ensure the fleet remains competitive and meets the needs of students, the company said. The newly installed Garmin touch screen avionics systems enhance safety, improve navigation, and provide pilots with the tools they need to excel in their aviation careers.
“Investing in our fleet allows us to provide our students with the same advanced technology found in brand-new production aircraft,” said Trevor Hall, owner of Nationwide Aviation, in a statement.
Nationwide Aviation was founded in Fort Worth. Its locations in North Texas include Weatherford and Roanoke. The school offers comprehensive training programs for aspiring pilots at all levels, including a full-time professional pilot program.
“We are committed to delivering the highest quality training experience without passing on costs to our customers,” Hall said. “Our students can now train on modern, state-of-the-art equipment at the same rental prices as other area schools that are still using outdated aircraft.”
