North American Rail Solutions, through its subsidiary American Track, has acquired Georigia-based Rapid Track.
Rapid Track, headquartered in Tyrone, Georgia (30 miles south of Atlanta), provides rail maintenance and construction services, primarily for industrial and shortline customers in the Southeast U.S.
Rapid Track was established in 1994 by Kirby Wallace and Gail Shockley Wallace, and today is managed by Shannon and Brandi Shockley. North American Rail Solutions is the largest provider of industrial rail inspection, construction, maintenance, terminal and support services in North America.
“The Southeast is a critical area for American Track and we felt that Shannon and Brandi had a team that was an excellent match for the American Track culture,” Tom Lucario, North American Rail Solutions CEO, in a statement.
North American Rail Solutions was formed in 2021 when DFW Capital Partners acquired American Track and partnered with its existing management team. The acquisition led to the establishment of North American Rail Solutions as the parent company.
The company operates through a comprehensive network of 30 full-service offices positioned across the United States and Canada. From these locations, North American Rail Solutions delivers mission-critical services to customers, focusing on ensuring the safety, compliance, and operational integrity of onsite railway assets.
