Declan McLaughlin
Operio Group has appointed Declan McLaughlin as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, the company announced Tuesday.
McLaughlin, who previously served on Operio’s board, brings a track record in operational leadership, growth strategy, and team development. Known for his ability to build structure and scale organizations, McLaughlin’s leadership is seen as a natural fit for the company’s long-term goals.
"I've long admired what a unique business Alastair and Richard Sanderson have built,” McLaughlin said in a statement. “I'm eager to build on that strong foundation and add some tools and disciplines that I have learned in my career to make Operio a world-class company."
The transition was initiated by former CEO Alastair Sanderson, who will now serve as chief business development officer and chief marketing officer. Sanderson emphasized that the leadership change reflects his philosophy of hiring exceptional talent to advance the company’s mission.
"I’ve always believed in hiring people who are better than me," Sanderson said. “Declan’s strengths complement ours and will allow me to focus on areas I’m most passionate about — business development and brand building.”
Richard Sanderson is chairman of the board.
