Arthur Calcaterra
Quorum Architects Inc., the Fort Worth architecture and interior design firm, has promoted architect Arthur Calcaterra to senior associate and newest shareholder, the firm announced.
Calcaterra, who has been with Quorum since 2005 and has 24 years of industry experience, has served as director of retail and entertainment design at the firm since June 2022.
“Arthur has proven himself to be a loyal and conscientious team leader, client advocate and business developer,” said Scott Wilson, founding partner, in a statement. “He’s a key driver of our success in the retail and entertainment arena.”
We met Calcaterra more than three years ago. He was an extra in “12 Mighty Orphans,” the movie detailing the football team at Masonic Home in the 1930s and 1940s. Calcaterra is a 1990s graduate of Masonic Home.
Calcaterra and his team work with national retail chains to help grow and improve clients’ physical presence and brand awareness from California to New York, among them Saks Fifth Avenue and Michael’s.
For entertainment design clients, the team works with amusement and water parks to deliver projects in multiple states.
“Leadership is not just about holding a position; it’s about inspiring change, embracing responsibility, and shaping the future,” said Calcaterra. “As a current leader and shareholder, my commitment is to bring innovation, drive growth, and ensure shared success for all. I look forward to carrying on the vision of the original founders of Quorum Architects.”
Calcaterra has volunteered as a student mentor with the College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs at his alma mater, UT Arlington, since 2019.
Quorum Architects, founded in 1992, is registered in 32 states.
