SkillCat, a top application for trade certifications, recently ranked Tarrant County College’s HVAC program as No. 13 among the Top 20 programs in Texas, the school revealed in a press release on Wednesday.
Rankings were based on cost, curriculum, post-graduation statistics, and average post-graduation salary.
Tuition for TCC’s HVAC program begins at $814. The graduation rate is 23% and the employment rate 87%. Post-graduation average salaries start at $42,727.
“We’re honored that our HVAC program was recognized as one of the best in Texas!” said instructor T.J. Felgar, in a statement. “This achievement reflects the dedication of our instructors, the hard work of our students, and the support of our community and industry partners.”
The program is built on a foundation of hands-on training, leading technology, and a dedication to preparing skilled HVAC professionals, according to Felgar.
