United Way of Tarrant County announced this week that Beverly Delaney has been promoted to director of corporate relations.
Delaney will lead efforts to enhance relationship management, employee engagement in workplace campaigns, and corporate fundraising to support UWTC programs and community efforts.
Delaney joined UWTC’s development team in November 2023 as senior corporate relations manager, collaborating closely with various companies and their employees.
“Beverly brings visible excitement and passion to her work and is focused on bringing value to companies and their associates as they contribute to making our community better,” said Doug Yeiser, interim chief development officer, in a statement. “Beverly helps companies demonstrate the kind of community commitment that increases employee and customer satisfaction and makes Tarrant County a great place to live and work.”
Delaney brings more than 20 years of sales and business development experience to this role, having previously held management positions at the American Heart Association, Vitas Healthcare, and Texas Health Huguley.
“My hope is that our new and existing corporate sponsors see the life-changing impact their financial contributions make in the lives of local residents who need it most,” Delaney said.
Delaney earned an MBA from Texas Woman’s University and her bachelor’s in broadcast journalism from the University of North Texas.
