Veteran Fort Worth bank executive Eddie Broussard said Wednesday morning that he had accepted a new position as president of the Fort Worth market at UMB Bank.
Broussard left the position of regional president with Texas Capital Bank in April.
After a successful, multifaceted career in North Carolina, Broussard returned to Texas in 2013 to join Texas Capital Bank as a senior vice president and commercial banking executive. In 2019, Broussard was named regional president.
Broussard is also currently the chair of the Fort Worth Sports Commission, which facilitates the economic engine of sporting events for the city. The commission played critical roles in bringing the men’s NCAA basketball tournament and Professional Bull Riders World Finals to Fort Worth, as well the NCAA Gymnastics championships.
“I believe UMB bank is a bank that truly supports relationships with its customers and with its communities,” Broussard said through a LinkedIn chat. “So, making this move is actually very supportive of my role with the Fort Worth Sports Commission and the Fort Worth community as a whole.”
