
Larry Autrey, managing partner of Whitley Penn, has been named to Accounting Today’s Managing Partner Elite list, the Fort Worth firm said.
To be eligible for the MP Elite, managing partners/CEOs must have been in their role for a minimum of four years. Autrey has been Whitley Penn’s managing partner for more than 20 years.
Autrey has more than 30 years of tax, advisory and business valuation experience focused on public and private clients. His practice areas include mergers and acquisitions, manufacturing, distribution, profit enhancement, professional services, business valuations and estate planning.
Autrey is chair of North America for Nexia International, former chair for the Major Firms Group, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Autrey also is on the boards of Cook Children’s Medical Center, Texas Land Conservancy, and Community Enrichment Center, and is a chairman of the Community Foundation of North Texas.
