Trademark's Westbend development.
Trademark Property Company, a leading mixed-use investor, developer, and operator, said on Monday that Pottery Barn and West Elm are joining the retail mix at Westbend, the 281,000-square-foot mixed-use community on University Drive.
Both home furnishings brands, owned by Williams-Sonoma Inc., will occupy the former Market by Macy’s store, taking a combined 22,126 square feet at the property, according to a press release.
With this deal, Westbend’s retail is now 100% leased, according to Trademark.
“We are excited to expand Williams-Sonoma, Inc.’s presence within Trademark’s portfolio with this unique deal, which brings two of the biggest home furnishings brands to the heart of Fort Worth’s top retail district,” said Daniel Goldware, Trademark VP of Leasing, in a statement.
Pottery Barn is relocating its existing Fort Worth store from across the street in University Village. West Elm’s new presence marks a return to the city. The brands will operate side-by-side in a ground-floor retail space below 60,000 square feet of office.
The stores are scheduled to open in May 2026.
Pottery Barn is a home furnishings retailer offering a range of products for everyday living, including furniture, bedding, bath items, rugs, window coverings, lighting, and decorative accessories. The brand focuses on practical design, long-lasting materials, and customer service, with an emphasis on sustainability and quality craftsmanship.
West Elm, founded in 2002, focuses on modern furniture and home décor with clean lines and contemporary design.
Trademark redeveloped Westbend’s first phase in 2016, and is embarking on the second phase of the property with the construction of Westbend Residences, a 321-unit multifamily development featuring 4,500 square feet of restaurant space on 3.5 acres along the Trinity River at 1701 S. University Dr.
In addition to Westbend, Trademark’s mixed-use, retail, and institutional services Fort Worth-Dallas portfolio includes Alliance Town Center, Left Bank, Lincoln Square, and Galleria Dallas.
The company, meanwhile, is also working on several multifamily projects, including The Vickery in Fort Worth, in addition to Westbend Residences.
