The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth (HSC) is getting Fort Worth vaccinated with free, on-site, in-community clinics designed to improve vaccine accessibility—one of the biggest barriers to achieving community immunity.
HSC’s Pop-Up COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics can be set up anywhere, offering underserved and rural communities a more convenient way to get vaccinated.
The goal is to make it easy to get vaccinated. By holding Pop-Up Clinics within minutes of where people work and live, HSC is hoping to attract a subset of the population who are unable to travel far from their neighborhood. Furthermore, all of HSC’s Vaccine Clinics now welcoming walk-ins, no appointment necessary!

HSC is now working with local partners to hold Pop-Up Vaccine Clinics in an effort to make the vaccine accessible to all people in Tarrant County. A Pop-Up Clinic will happen on June 14, 2021 at East St. Paul Baptist Church. Starting at 9:30 am, members of the community can walk up—no appointment needed—and get vaccinated.
Registration is easy. If you’re interested in hosting a clinic for your organization or community, head to tarrantcountystrong.com/host-a-clinic to sign up.
