Fort Worth Inc. will honor its Person of the Year this summer as part of the magazine’s annual issue of “The 400: Fort Worth’s Most Influential People.”
Fort Worth Inc. staff selected one person from this year’s The 400 to be its Person of the Year. The criteria: a lifetime of accomplishment, particularly in the last year, for the good of Fort Worth and the region.
Last year, Opal Lee, named “Grandmother of Juneteenth,” was named Fort Worth Inc.’s 2022 Person of the Year for her significant influence and impact in the community, bringing national awareness for the equality of all Americans. Our winner this year has made an influence that put Fort Worth on the map nationally, defying the odds and impacting millions.
The identity of the 2023 Person of the Year will be announced on Wednesday, January 25. A reception for Person of the Year and The 400 list will be on May 18 at the Fort Worth Club. Stay tuned, tickets will be available for purchase once the winner has been announced.
