On Thursday, May 18, Fort Worth Inc. hosted its annual celebration at The Fort Worth Club to honor TCU's head coach as the 2023 Person of the Year, alongside other deserving honorees selected as The 400: Fort Worth's Most Influential People. Each year, one exceptional individual is chosen from this esteemed list for their remarkable impact, with a particular emphasis on their achievements over the past year. This year, the distinguished title of Person of the Year has been bestowed upon TCU's head football coach, Sonny Dykes, recognizing his efforts in bringing worldwide exposure to the city of Fort Worth.
Under his leadership in his first year, TCU achieved unprecedented success, propelling the university and the city to global recognition in the realm of college football. Fort Worth Inc.'s Summer issue, hitting newsstands on May 24, will feature the complete list of The 400, providing an in-depth showcase of Fort Worth's most influential individuals.
Throughout the celebratory event, guests were treated to hors d'oeuvres and tray-passed glasses of wine, courtesy of Lost Oak Winery. Additionally, attendees were presented with their personal copies of the latest issue of the magazine, along with a specially curated cocktail kit, generously provided by Texas Capital Bank. The evening served as a testament to the honorees' outstanding achievements and the profound impact they have made on the Fort Worth community.
