The Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce announced its 12 category finalists for Small Business of the Year on Monday. The awards, presented by Bank of Texas, will be announced Jan. 24 during an evening event at The 4 Eleven on the Near Southside. The finaists:
EMERGING BUSINESSES

- Locavore (pictured): All-inclusive resource for food entrepreneurs who need low-risk, affordable access to a commercial kitchen and event venue
- Signature Cuffs: High-end fashion accessories for women that bring refinement to the clothes they feel most comfortable wearing
MANUFACTURING/DISTRIBUTION
- M-Pak: Provides solutions tailored to fit and protect all shapes and sizes
- Sellmark Corp.: Develops, acquires, manufactures, markets, sells and distributes outdoor products
- Silver Creek Materials: Recyling, compost, mining and organic products industry leader

- Alchemy Pops: Handcrafted frozen pops
