RSM US LLP, the nation’s fifth-largest accounting firm, has expanded its footprint in North Texas with the opening of a Fort Worth office in Clearfork, the firm announced in a news release.
Steve McLaurin, a 30-year Fort Worth resident, is the RSM Fort Worth managing partner.
The office celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony that included Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker and a host of other local leaders.
“Tarrant County is an amazing place to live and do business,” says McLaurin in a statement. “RSM fits into the phenomenal growth of the area perfectly. We are here to serve both longtime businesses, those who are joining us in this growing economy, as well as provide civic-focused involvement to a variety of community organizations.”
The Fort Worth office already has more than 70 employees, the firm says.
Economically, RSM expects continued growth west as part of the North Texas market, which is why a Fort Worth office made sense to the company.
“As the 13th largest city in the U.S., Fort Worth’s population is booming, growing by more than 25% in the past decade,” McLaurin says. “That means there are both businesses and jobs to support that growth, and RSM is ready to serve those companies. Not only are we big enough to manage the challenges of today, we also are nimble enough to respond to changes in the market.”
RSM is also hiring in North Texas with more than 130 open positions in region. Go to the company’s website at rsmus.com for information on opportunities.
“We foster an environment of camaraderie, collaboration and learning — one in which you can be your authentic self and feel seen and supported by leaders and colleagues as you pursue your personal and professional best,” says Ty Beasley, RSM’s North Texas market leader. “Expanding our team with dedicated teammates, values-driven individuals and diverse thinkers results in better work — and a magnificent work experience. Our clients benefit from fresh insights and energy as we partner to support them, and our teams enjoy a work environment that inspires and empowers them to thrive.”
Says Fort Worth Chamber CEO Brandom Gengelbach: “This opening is evidence of a strong local economy and that the business world has confidence in Fort Worth. We are proud to count RSM among our members and welcome them as an integral part of our city’s vibrant economy.”
