Landing the plant was a joint project of the city of Fort Worth's Economic Development team and the Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership. Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership played a “crucial role in facilitating and managing various aspects of the development process for JCNA,” according to a press release.
The plant will be at 6101 Campus Drive, the location of Building 2 of 46 Ranch Logistics Park. The property is managed by Stream Realty.
“We are thrilled that Junchuang North American, Inc. is expanding to Fort Worth," said Robert Allen, CEO of the Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership. “Our collaborative efforts with the city of Fort Worth's Economic Development team and Stream Realty have helped pave the way for this significant investment, which will enhance our region's manufacturing capabilities and create high-quality jobs.”
The Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership is a privately funded nonprofit whose mission is to develop economic opportunities through business development and attraction for Fort Worth and the surrounding areas.
“The North Texas region is becoming an important hub for new forms of sustainable energy, and that includes electric vehicles and the technology that powers them,” said Robert Sturns, Fort Worth's Economic Development director. “With MP Materials coming online soon here in Fort Worth and the nearby GM assembly plant in Arlington, our city is well-positioned to be a key player in this evolving industry, and we join the FWEDP in welcoming JCNA to the area.”
With its expansion into Fort Worth, Junchuang North America aims to strengthen its presence in the domestic EV market, contribute to sustainable practices, and make a positive economic impact in the region.
