Nine Fort Worth-area companies were among the Dallas Business Journal’s 50 fastest-growing companies in Dallas-Fort Worth.
Servpro’s Grapevine-based franchise group, Team Shaw, was the highest ranked at No. 4 with three-year revenue growth of 394%. The Trade Group, a full-service event marketing and creative design firm, was No. 5 at 322%.
The “Fast 50” is an annual competition that ranks DFW’s fastest-growing private and public businesses with annual revenue between $10 million and $1 billion, based on three-year revenue growth.
Plano-based Maverick Power was No. 1 overall at 5,789%. Maverick Power designs and manufactures power distribution equipment for a variety of industries with a focus on data centers. Under CEO and President Tom Currier, the company has achieved more than $100 million in revenue while becoming profitable in under three years. Its employee count has gone from from roughly a dozen in 2021 to a few hundred now, according to the publication.

In less than four years, the Dallas-Fort Worth franchise of Servpro has grown from three locations and 15 employees to 27 locations and more than 200 employees. The company specializes in restoration, cleaning, and construction.
Revenue jumped from $9.9 million in 2022 to $43 million in 2023.
TimelyCare, the Fort Worth-based company that provides virtual health services to high education institutions, came in at No. 11. In 2023, the company doubled access to care for hundreds of thousands, according to the publication. The company’s revenue growth topped 184%.
ERW Site Solutions (141%), VLK Architects (100%), and HTeaO (88%) were Nos. 16, 19, and 22.
HTeaO is an iced tea franchise that has built a reputation for its premium teas, water, and coffee products. Its expansion includes all across the lower 48.
Fort Worth-based Whitley Penn made the list for the ninth consecutive year, at No. 44. Whitley Penn showed three-year revenue growth of 32% from 2021-23.

Pella of DFW, located in Grapevine, emerged as No. 32. Pella sells doors and windows. Bob Moore Construction, another Grapevine company, was No. 41.
In toto, the 50 companies accounted for a combined $8.7 billion in revenue.
