Leadership Fort Worth named Jennifer Trevino, a longtime Fort Worth leader, to be its new executive director Wednesday after more than a year and a half of search.
Trevino, who will step into the post Jan. 4, replaces Harriet Harral, who retired in June 2020 after more than 20 years as executive director.
“Treviño has a strong track record of facilitating and strengthening relationships across a range of stakeholders, including executive leaders, donors, board members, alumni, staff, and volunteers,” Ramon Guajardo, Leadership Fort Worth board president, said. “Her collaborative approach is what we need to move Leadership Fort Worth forward.”
Treviño formerly served as chief development officer of Girls Inc. of Tarrant County, and, before that, vice president and chief of staff at the UNT Health Science Center. Treviño holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor of Business Administration with in Marketing and Management from Texas Tech University. She is a certified diversity professional. She's a former Leadership Fort Worth graduate.

Trevino is a past recipient of the Most Powerful and Influential Women in Texas Award from the Texas Diversity Council, La Estrella Award from the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas, and the Hispanic Heritage Award from the United Hispanic Council of Tarrant County. She’s served on the Fort Worth Zoning Commission, Fort Worth Race and Culture Task Force, the City Plan Commission.
The mission of Leadership Fort Worth, founded in 1972, is to educate, empower and connect diverse leaders for a vibrant, sustainable community. It has three adult leadership development programs, a program for eight graders, and continuing education forum. The programs, which challenge leaders to commit to making their communities better places to live, connect participants to leaders and causes.
