TTI, Inc., a leading specialty distributor of electronic components, named Mike Morton its new chief executive, effective immediately. Morton steps in for the founder of the Fort Worth company, Paul Andrews, Jr., who died a week ago.
Morton has worked for TTI more than 40 years in various leadership positions, most as chief operating officer. "Through his years with TTI, Morton has played a vital role in building the company to its current level of success," TTI said in a release. "His knowledge of the company and vast experience is expected to serve him well as he takes on this new key position."
TTI and its wholly owned subsidiaries Mouser Electronics, Sager Electronics and TTI Semiconductor Group employ over 7,000 people in 133 locations throughout North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. The company maintains over 2 million square feet of dedicated warehouse space housing over 850,000 component part numbers.
