Yuengling beers have officially launched for sale in Texas this week, with a ceremonial delivery to the Fort Worth Stockyards.
"This delivery to the Stockyards, a key Texas landmark, speaks to the brand’s desire to meet fans where they are and to connect on their passion points, like their love of the great state of Texas," the company said.
The launch makes Texas the first state in The Yuengling Company joint venture between DGY Yuengling and Molson Coors Beverage Company to increase Yuengling’s reach outside beyond its 22-state East Coast footprint.
Molson Coors' Fort Worth plant is making the beers for distribution in Texas. The Yuengling Co. is based in Fort Worth.
The Pennsylvania-based DGY Yuengling, which bills itself as "America's Oldest Brewery," is offering a lineup of beers in Texas including Yuengling Traditional LAGER, Light Lager 99, Golden Pilsner, and FLIGHT by Yuengling, the Next Generation of Light Beer. Andrews Distributing is distributing the beers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
