Samsung HVAC America is expanding its AllianceTexas-based operations and will now occupy the entire 360,000-square-foot Alliance Gateway 55 industrial building.
Samsung HVAC had previously leased 228,000 square feet at the building, which is located at 776 Henrietta Creek Road in Roanoke.
The facility is Samsung HVAC’s North American headquarters and primary distribution center for its heating and cooling products, which is distributed throughout the United States and Canada.
“Samsung HVAC has seen tremendous growth over the past few years and we’re excited that AllianceTexas will continue to be an integral part of their success story,” said Reid Goetz, senior vice president of Hillwood, in a statement. “Samsung is a global leader in the HVAC business and the AllianceTexas location offers them tremendous value and an ongoing ability to expand, while maintaining direct access to their customer base throughout North America.”

Alliance Gateway 55 is located within AllianceTexas’ robust transportation infrastructure platform, which includes the AllianceTexas Mobility Innovation Zone (MIZ), Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport, and BNSF Railway’s Alliance Intermodal Facility.
Positioned along Texas 170, and just a few miles from Interstate 35W, Samsung HVAC’s location provides highway connectivity and airport access within North Texas. The building is also in close proximity to numerous shipping options based at AllianceTexas, including the FedEx Ground Hub, two UPS Ground Sort Hubs, FedEx Express Southwest Regional Air Hub and the Amazon Air Regional Hub.
Mark Becker, Jay Benner, Adam Cooke and Lou D’Avanzo of Cushman & Wakefield represented Samsung in the transaction. Samuel Rhea and Goetz represented Hillwood.
“Our customers are focused on real estate solutions that provide supply chain reliability, optionality and maximum efficiency,” said Rhea, director of industrial leasing at Hillwood. “Alliance Gateway 55 has immediate access to some of the most unique transportation logistics infrastructure in our entire market — the BNSF Alliance Intermodal Facility and Interstate 35W.”
