The Woodmont Company Facilitates Investment Sale of The Village at Weatherford
The Woodmont Company announced recently that it had conducted the sale of The Village at Weatherford, a 44,000-square-foot retail property.
The transaction closed on Oct. 11, according to a press release. Terms were not disclosed.
Russel Wehsener, lead broker at The Woodmont Company, represented the seller, Sinclair Investments, LLC. The buyer, who was not disclosed, was represented by Gibson Duwe and Kyle Poulson of Transwestern.
"We are thrilled to have been part of this successful sale, which reflects the continued strength of the retail market in Weatherford," said Wehsener in a statement. "The Village at Weatherford represents an outstanding investment opportunity, and we are excited to see its future growth under new ownership."
The Village at Weatherford was constructed in 1959 with additional construction in 2008, according to Woodmont. It sits along Main Street just a couple of blocks from the Parker County Courthouse.
According to Woodmont, the area sees 16,500 vehicles per day and has strong demographics, with a 3-mile population of about 30,078 and an average household income of approximately $92,260.
The property includes a 29,827-square-foot multi-tenant strip on 2.76 acres and a 15,000-square-foot office/retail building on a little more than half an acre. Both, according to Woodmont, are fully occupied with tenants who have recently extended leases.
