Andrew A. Yeager, an advertising sales veteran, has been hired as sales director of Panther City Media Group, the parent company of the monthly city periodical Fort Worth Magazine and Fort Worth Inc., a quarterly business publication.
Yeager will begin his duties on Wednesday, June 7.
“We’re thrilled to bring Andrew Yeager into our organization as our new sales director,” said Hal Brown, founding owner of Panther City Media Group. “Andrew brings 20 plus years of sales management expertise to the table, including print, digital and broadcast experience. I believe Andrew is the ideal choice to lead our company’s next chapter of growth and success.”
Since April 2022, Yeager has served as vice president of sales-North America for Datawrkz, a global digital advertising solutions company. Before that, Yeager was the digital sales director for NBCUniversal, overseeing sales teams across 18 states for NBC’s streaming TV product Peacock and programmatic CTV platform “NBC Spot On.”
Yeager moved over to that position from digital sales director for NBC 5 and Telemundo 39. There he built and managed the stations’ first digital sales department in Fort Worth-Dallas. In that role, Yeager’s team grew local ad revenue 246% in the first three years and set new high marks for digital revenue and share of market.
Yeager earned a bachelor’s in communications from University of Michigan and graduated with honors with a master’s in integrated marketing communications from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York.
Yeager and his family live in Southlake. He is an active and respected leader and community volunteer, serving as a trustee on the Carroll ISD School Board.
