ECI Software Solutions, a leader in cloud-based business management solutions, on Tuesday announced that it had appointed Shahin Hatamian as chief product officer.
Hatamian will guide ECI’s product vision and be responsible for translating that vision into a strategy roadmap, overseeing the creation and execution of all product-related activities.
"ECI continues to evolve its broad range of market-leading products to provide its customers with the tools and solutions they need to grow and compete in today’s competitive marketplace,” said Hatamian in a statement. “I’m excited to have the opportunity to drive and execute the current product vision, while looking towards opportunities to further build roadmaps in support of ECI’s overarching goals.”
Privately held, ECI is headquartered in Fort Worth, with offices throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, England, the Netherlands, and Australia.
Before joining ECI, Hatamian, with more than 25 years of high-tech industry experience, served as senior vice president of product management and strategy for Mitchell International, a SaaS solution provider to the P&C insurance industry. For over 12 years, Hatamian created value through product strategy formulation and execution, product management and marketing, M&A, sales support and the development and execution of short and long-term division strategy.
Prior to Mitchell, he served as vice president of product management and delivery for Toshiba America Information Systems, where he was responsible for product strategy and implementation of Toshiba’s IP-based voice communication solutions, voice applications, call center solutions, mobility solutions and numerous partner products.
“Hatamian brings years of extensive experience in managing various product lines, and has a broad understanding of how to lead product management functions for high-growth, market-leading SaaS organizations at scale,” said Trevor Gruenewald, CEO of ECI.
The expansion of ECI’s leadership team to include Hatamian follows the recent addition of Chip Coyle, chief marketing officer, and comes on the heels of three notable acquisitions, including ES Tech Group — a U.K.-based B2B eCommerce software and services company serving manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers; Data Inventions — the maker of an innovative machine intelligence platform called Alora; and Lojic — the maker of Lojic Dashboards, a customizable dashboard solution that helps manufacturers create and display real-time, insightful dashboards across operations.
ECI’s 2022 Connect Conference is in Denver Nov. 9-11.
