eTrueNorth of Mansfield was at the top among 24 Greater Fort Worth companies in Inc.’s 5,000 fastest-growing companies in the U.S., finishing an eye-popping fourth overall.
eTrueNorth, a health care company specializing in point-of-care testing, was the top-ranked company in all of Texas, experiencing exponential revenue growth over a three-period ending in 2021. The company was ranked No. 2 in the health care industry.
Founded in 2013 by Coral S. May and Michael McEntee, eTrueNorth was instrumental in setting up and managing large-scale testing operations across the country in the early days of COVID-19 and throughout the pandemic. eTrueNorth’s technology infrastructure is designed to help pharmacies implement critical health care services, including point-of-care testing, vaccination, and employee screening.
“We are beyond thrilled with this recognition,” says May, CEO, in a statement. “Our hard work to make healthcare more accessible is paying off for the American people. Patients value the convenience, while health plans appreciate the novel opportunity for addressing gaps in care.”
Since 1982, the annual Inc. 5000 list has represented the most successful independent small businesses across America. Companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 list are ranked according to percent revenue growth over the prior three years, according to the magazine. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of Dec. 31, 2021.
The minimum revenue required for 2018 is $100,000; the minimum for 2021 is $2 million.
The No. 1-ranked company was BlockFi, a crypto outfit founded in 2017 and based in Jersey City, New Jersey, that seems to be weathering the crypto downturn.
TimelyMD, which hasn’t stopped surging since its establishment in 2017, was the highest-ranked Fort Worth company, coming in at No. 116. Now a leader as a virtual health and well-being solution in higher education, TimelyMD was ranked No. 4 in Dallas-Fort Worth, No. 6 in Texas, and No. 9 in the health services sector.
“Recognition as one of the fastest-growing companies is an honor that validates the ongoing urgency of improving college students’ physical and mental health,” says Luke Hejl, CEO and co-founder of TimelyMD. “The key to our success is a laser-like focus on helping students be well and thrive. We are immensely grateful for the college and university leaders who trust us to care for their campuses and our team that makes exceptional care a reality.”
