Greg Westfall
Greg Westfall, a longtime state and federal criminal defense lawyer and civil litigator, has joined Cantey Hanger as a partner in its Litigation Section.
His practice will focus on White Collar Criminal Defense and Civil Litigation.
“Greg has had an impactful presence in Tarrant County legal matters,” said Brian Newby, the firm’s managing partner, in a statement. “We’re excited to have his historical knowledge, skills and experience. He will be a great asset to our growing litigation team.”
During his 30-year career, Westfall has tried many high-profile criminal cases in state and federal courts, while also carrying an active appellate practice at all levels. He also has taught thousands of lawyers on a wide range of subjects from dealing with expert witnesses to jury communication.

Westfall graduated in 1993 summa cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law, where he was editor-in-chief of the Texas Tech Law Review. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with highest honors in 1990 from the University of Texas at Arlington.
