HTeaO
Fort Worth-based HTeaO and its customers raised more than $93,000 for the Ryan Palmer Foundation’s breast cancer initiative during a monthlong campaign in October, the company announced on Tuesday.
Throughout that month, each guest had the opportunity to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar, with the donation going toward the Ryan Palmer Breast Cancer Initiative and the creation of Hope Kits.
Hope Kits, given to breast cancer patients, are designed to boost their spirits while they undergo treatments. HTeaO also reintroduced its pink straws during the month to raise awareness.
“Every dollar makes a difference and we can't wait to see the impact that this donation has on the many patients undergoing treatment,” said Justin Howe, HTeaO CEO, in a statement.
This marks the third year HTeaO has partnered with Ryan Palmer, a PGA Tour pro since 2000 who is from Amarillo, the birthplace of HTeaO. Like HTeaO, Palmer, who has four PGA Tour victories, has relocated to Fort Worth-Dallas.
The Ryan Palmer Foundation was created in 2003 to provide positive opportunities for youth. In 2019, Palmer started the Breast Cancer Initiative after his wife's experience with breast cancer.
“Partnering with the foundation has been a great source of joy for everyone at HTeaO, customers, and employees alike,” Howe said. “We look forward to continuing to work together in the years to come.”
HTeaO, the Starbucks of iced tea, launched officially in 2018. The company offers 26 flavors, all made naturally — no powders or syrups — and with water from a mini-treatment plant onsite at each location. Among those flavors is the “Ryan Palmer,” a spin-off of the better-known “Arnold Palmer” but with HTeaO’s sweet regular tea mixed with yellow lemonade.
To date, more than 430 franchises are either in operation or at some level of the pipeline leading to development.
The company is headquartered on Markum Ranch Road in west Fort Worth, with a warehouse near Meacham International Airport on the North Side.
HTeaO is among the fastest-growing companies in the Southwest, ranking No. 59 in Inc. magazine’s list of private companies based in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. The listing recognizes up-and-coming fast-growth companies in key regions across the country.
HTeaO, one of 166 companies recognized for its growth from 2019-21 and southwest expansion, experienced a two-year revenue growth of 240%.
