The tax-supported JPS Health Network provides adult inpatient care at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, as well as family primary care, dental services, and psychiatric care at more than 25 community sites.
Contractors looking to take part in JPS Health Network's $800 million expansion have an opportunity to learn more about the project next week.
On Oct. 28, JPS Health Network will host a Bond Construction Program Kickoff webinar via Zoom, introducing the first bid opportunities for the JPS Future Plan — a program that looks to build new health care facilities like a patient tower, psychiatric hospital, and more in Tarrant County.
The webinar will discuss overall program goals and initial contracting opportunities available for bid from architecture, design, engineering, and professional services firms. According to JPS, bid opportunities primarily consist of enabling projects such as temporary parking solutions and utilities work, which will clear the way for the major portions of the JPS Future Plan. Prospective bidders will also learn about initiatives available for Minority, Women, Veterans Business Enterprise firms to compete for available contracts.
Representatives from JPS and the program management partnership of Broaddus & Associates and LeVis Consulting Group, along with program marketing team from K Strategies, will be in attendance during the webinar.
Prospective bidders can register for the event here.
Other projects JPS is looking to build include an ambulatory surgery center and new medical home facilities across Tarrant County. JPS also wants to expand its parking and improve infrastructure for the main campus.
