Whitley Penn announced on Thursday that it was expanding its footprint in the San Antonio metro area by adding Fisher, Herbst & Kemble, P.C. — FHK — to the firm.
The merging was effective Nov. 1, according to a press release.
FHK is a long-established San Antonio CPA firm.
“On behalf of FHK, we are excited to be joining a strong Texas-based firm,” said Bob Herbst, managing shareholder of FHK, in a statement. “We look forward to contributing to Whitley Penn’s goal of continued growth by adding to the firm’s network while strengthening its services and physical footprint.”
Whitley Penn and FHK’s depth of experience in the financial institutions industry together will enhance their abilities to elevate client service and facilitate growth, officials said.
“We are thrilled to have the FHK team join Whitley Penn,” said Larry Autrey, managing partner and CEO of Whitley Penn. “Expanding our presence into all major markets in the state of Texas is an incredible milestone. We believe that this integration will enable us to provide even more value to our clients, and we look forward to all the great things that we can achieve together.”
