Texas Capital Bank announced that effective Tuesday Rusty Anderson is the institution’s Fort Worth market president.
In that role, Anderson will serve as a strategic advisor to the region’s Market Leadership Team, which is responsible for the bank’s overall growth within Fort Worth through its development of new client opportunities and focus on collaboration across each line of business.
Anderson replaces Eddie Broussard, who left the bank earlier this year.
In addition, Anderson will serve as executive vice president, middle market group manager. He joins Texas Capital Bank from Prosperity Bank where he served as the Tarrant County market president for the past eight years.
“Texas Capital Bank is building the flagship financial services firm in Texas, focused on serving the best clients across our markets,” says Anderson in a statement. “I am excited and privileged to help lead these efforts in the growing Fort Worth region.”
Prior to his role at Prosperity Bank, Anderson served as senior vice president, relationship manager for Bank of Texas, handling loan portfolio management and business development throughout the Fort Worth area. He has also held commercial banking roles at Wells Fargo, JP Morgan Chase, and North Dallas Bank and Trust.
Anderson earned a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in finance from Texas Tech University. He serves on the board of Downtown Fort Worth, Inc.
