Reunion Rehabilitation Arlington
Reunion Rehab Arlington, an inpatient rehabilitation hospital for those with complex neurological and orthopedic conditions, has recently opened, approximately two years after breaking ground in southeast Arlington.
The three-story, 50,800-square-foot facility has 40 private rooms, expansive dayrooms, food services and dining areas, fitness and physical therapy spaces, and an outdoor courtyard for patients to practice walking on various surfaces and inclines.
Dallas-based Adolfson & Peterson Construction (APC) served as lead contractor on the project.
“Rehabilitation hospitals play a key role in the healthcare system by aiding people in resuming their daily lives,” APC project executive Michael Ortiz. “[It’s] vitally important to have these facilities close to where people live.”
Reunion Rehabilitation Hospitals opened Reunion Rehab Plano in May, and operates four other facilities — two each in Arizona and Colorado.
“We identified the Arlington/DFW market as areas that could use our state-of-the-art rehabilitation services and look forward to a successful future,” Reunion board member Bryan Whitworth said.
