Tucker Carlson, as well known as a political disruptor and agitating media personality as he is conservative commentator, is coming to Fort Worth to talk presidential election and current events.
And he’s bringing Roseanne Barr, a known wallflower, with him.
The show at Dickies Arena on Sept. 24 is part of a 15-city national arena tour, TUCKER CARLSON LIVE 2024, kicking off Sept. 4 in Phoenix.
Tickets go on sale on Friday. VIP meet-and-greet tickets will be available exclusively Moms for America. Prices for those start at $1,600, according to the website.
"I can't wait to take our show on the road in cities across America. We're going to be talking about real issues with real people,” Carlson said in a statement. “You'd better believe the establishment will be losing their minds.”
Joining Carlson on stage, at select venues, will be a sundry of celebrity guests, including Kid Rock, Megan Kelly, Alex Jones, and Marjorie Taylor Greene, the anti-Sam Rayburn of the U.S. House.
Two who have been speculated as potential running mates of presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, Tulsi Gabbard and former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, are also making appearances in other cities, leading one to believe they will not be chosen as the No. 2 at the head of the ticket.
Carlson describes the guests as “some of the smartest, most interesting people in America.”
If Roseanne Barr is known for anything, it’s commentary. She has lots of opinions, some of which have led her into trouble with certain segments of society, including the right. She once made Margaret Truman look like Judy Garland after making a mockery of the national anthem at a San Diego Padres baseball game in 1990. It filled segments of current events shows, the subject of commentary for days, weeks maybe. She has since become a darling of the rightward-leaning audiences after she was fired from her eponymous show on ABC because of a post on X that sent her directly to the cancel queue — do not pass "Go," do not collect $200.
"This is an extraordinary opportunity for Sambrosa to present one of the most important talks across the country at a time that couldn't be more impactful," said Jeffrey Van Hierden, president of Sambrosa.com, a sponsor of the tour. "As a leader in wellness care, we look forward to giving people the opportunity to hear from one of the most respected voices in media today."
Carlson has been a leading voice of conservative politics for 30 years as a commentator and host of shows on CNN, Fox, and MSNBC. He has waded into the waters of controversy in more recent years.
Some of his commentary has been brushed aside as conspiracy theories, including what he has presented on the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. Bringing Alex Jones to any party is tantamount to bringing the group mansplainer as the plus-one to the event.
"Tucker Carlson is an ambassador of truth and common sense and staunch defender of the family,” said Kimberly Fletcher, Founder of Moms For America. “He is one of the last true journalists in America not afraid to expose the lies and champion the issues moms care about most. We are thrilled to be a part of this tour.”
