Whitebox Real Estate, a leading tenant representation firm announced this week that Grant Pruitt, president and managing director of the firm, has been appointed as the incoming president of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors — SIOR — DFW/North Texas Chapter.
Whitebox Real Estate is recognized as one of the fastest-growing private companies in America and has been honored with a place on the Dallas Business Journal's Best Places to Work list. The firm has built a reputation for challenging the traditional norms of the commercial real estate industry.
“We are incredibly proud of Grant Pruitt's appointment,” said Mark Norman, COO at Whitebox Real Estate, in a statement. “His passion for excellence, deep industry knowledge, and dedication to serving the needs of his clients perfectly align with SIOR's mission to promote professionalism and integrity in the real estate field.”
SIOR is dedicated to the practice and maintenance of the professional and ethical standards of real estate. The organization provides professional services, publications, and educational programs.
Pruitt will work closely with SIOR DFW/North Texas Chapter members to foster collaboration, share best practices, and support the growth of the real estate industry in the region, according to a press release.
Whitebox also announced a beefing up of its industrial division, adding Craig Phelps as vice president/Dallas Industrial Division and Taylor Featherston as an associate in the industrial space with a focus in Tarrant County. Featherston, a TCU graduate, spent parts of three seasons as a major-league baseball player.
